Parasailing | Lake Tahoe
Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, straddling the border of California and Nevada. It is home to winter sports, summer outdoor recreation, and scenery enjoyed throughout the year which is known for its beaches and ski resorts.
Took a boat ride into lake Tahoe to experience the amazing parasailing with a backdrop of snowy mountains to witness the largest alpine lake in North America at 122,160,280 acre and its depth is 1,645 ft, making it the second deepest in the United States after Crater Lake in Oregon which is 1,945 ft.
The parasailing I took was at 500ft above the lake which lasted for about 10 mins with clear sky on top, fresh water below and beautiful mountains at proximity.
The lake was formed about 2 million years ago as part of the Lake Tahoe Basin, with the modern extent being shaped during the ice ages. It is known for the clarity of its water and the panorama of surrounding mountains on all sides.
